Main: Creating a Resolver

Resolution in Genii

There are two things that can trigger the use of a resolver: a failed call using the address of an EPR or a malformed address of an EPR. In either case, genii will then proceed to call the resolve method with that EPR. As a result, each resolver listed in the EPR is called once. A successfully returned EPR from a resolver is then used to remake the initial call.

Resolution by Default

You can specify that resolvers are to by made by default for all instances of a certain type in the server-config.xml file. You need to add a <genii:default-resolver-factory-settings> element to the <genii:service> element.
