Main: Instructions for Obtaining a GFFS.eu Identity

Option 1: Request a GFFS.eu Identity

• Send an email with the following information to xcghelp@cs.virginia.edu:
  1. Your name
  2. An educational, research or commercial institution with which you are affiliated
  3. An email address
• You will be emailed your GFFS.eu identity and an initial password.

Option 2: Use an existing XSEDE portal ID

• Send an email with the following information to xcghelp@cs.virginia.edu:
  1. Your name
  2. Your XSEDE portal ID (DO NOT SEND YOUR PASSWORD!)
• You will be emailed your GFFS.eu identity. It will work with your XSEDE password.

Option 3: Use an existing Kerberos ID

• Send an email with the following information to xcghelp@cs.virginia.edu:
  1. Your name
  2. Your Kerberos ID (DO NOT SEND YOUR PASSWORD!)
  3. The Kerberos realm of your institution
  4. The hostname of your institution's Kerberos server
• You will be emailed your GFFS.eu identity. It will work with your Kerberos password.

Option 4: Use an existing LRZ account

• Send an email with the following information to xcghelp@cs.virginia.edu:
  1. Your name
  2. Your LRZ login ID (DO NOT SEND YOUR PASSWORD!)
• You will be emailed your GFFS.eu identity. It will work with your LRZ account password.
